Why Short Breaks?

We believe Short breaks are ideal for that quick mid week break when you just need to get away. Our aim is to totally relax you and let you forget about work by mixing great walking in stunning environments with gourmet food, wine & lifestyle experiences. We have chosen three distinct locations for our Short Breaks, each of which offer superb walking and great regional food & wine experiences. Each venue is very accessible, located very close to the capital cities of Adelaide & Melbourne.

Yarra Valley (VIC)            

Renowned gourmet food & wine region the Yarra Valley is host to several famous wineries, including Balgownie Estate,  Domaine Chandon, Yering Station & Rochford Wines. We also visit some of the smaller boutique wineries, as well as the amazing Tarrawarra Museum of Art and  the delectable Yarra Valley Dairy. We walk amongst beautiful snow gums at Lake Mountain, as  well as amongst the mountain ash forests of the Yarra and Dandenong Ranges. 

Spa Country (VIC)  Daylesford | Hepburn Springs

Daylesford is justifiably famous as a retreat with great spa + massage experiences, as well as excellence in regional food & wine including gourmet chocolates! Our walking takes us amongst uniquely Australian stringy bark & box forests as well as to the hauntingly beautiful  Hanging Rock.

Adelaide Hills (SA)

Adelaide’s famous “food Bowl” features outstanding regional wines and brand new surprises such as Hahndorf Hill Winery’s  amazing Chocovino experience, matching the best in world  chocolate with their excellent wines. We walk sections of the famous Heysen Trail and visit Hans Heysen’s property The Cedars.

We are also able to arrange pre & post-trip accommodation in Melbourne & Adelaide.
