Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple. We bring you the best walking locations in Australia and guide you there, safely and in comfort. Our trips are enjoyable, safe and interesting so you can expect to have fun and learn more about the places you are seeing. We believe our guides are the most important staff in our company, so we pay them well and are continually seeking ways to improve their training. We believe in conserving wild places and keeping our foot print small. For this reason we support minimal impact walking and believe we have a responsibility to help support the environments we visit and their local communities. Hence we support local and national conservation groups and local communities. Species we are helping find ways to preserve include: - yellow footed rock wallabies (Flinders Ranges) - koalas (Great Ocean Walk) - white bellied sea eagles (Kangaroo Island) - hooded plovers (Great Ocean Walk) We believe tourism should not damage the very attractions it seeks to showcase. For this reason expect your guides to enforce a few ethics along the way to ensure you help to do your bit while out in the bush. We also believe tourism should support local producers. For this reason we seek providers who can include local food and wine in our menus, thus ensuring a more interesting and diverse culinary experience for you the traveller, reducing food miles, and supporting local producers - just one of the many ways we use to support local communities.
