Aoraki Mount Cook Trek
Description: Climb up the Ball Ridge and confront the mighty Caroline Face of Aoraki Mount Cook. On this guided hike you will go as close as it's possible to get to Mount Cook on foot without actually being on the mountain.
Trekking Season: December to April
Price: AUD $645 per person
Length: 2 days
Fitness & Experience above average fitness, multi-day hiking/trekking experience with 4hour+ days. This alpine adventure is suitable for fit hikers and backpackers, able to climb 850m over rugged, untracked terrain in up to 6 hours.

Ball Pass Crossing
Description: Our most popular trek. Hike up high in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, home of New Zealand's highest mountains. Challenge yourself to an adventurous alpine trek, crossing snow fields, a small glacier and untracked, rugged terrain. Traverse the Mount Cook Range from the Tasman Valley to the Hooker Valley in 3 days, climb an easy peak and explore the Ball Glacier. Get close to the mighty Aoraki Mount Cook and enjoy breathtaking views of nearly all of our 3000m peaks. Be awed by Aoraki's Caroline Face as you hike up the Ball Ridge and watch its ice avalanches from the safety of Caroline Hut.
Trekking Season: November to April
Price: AUD $895 per person
Length: 3 days
Fitness & Experience: For the guided Ball Pass Crossing you need to have previous hiking, backpacking, tramping or bushwalking experience. This trek is beginner mountaineering and is more demanding than other guided hikes in New Zealand, such as the Milford or Routeburn Tracks, because it is alpine, traverses snow fields and a small glacier and there is no track in parts. Where there is a track it is narrow, uneven and you have to place your feet carefully.

Tekapo Trek
Description: Hike above worry level in the foothills of the Southern Alps. Be inspired by the magic light of the Mackenzie High Country across golden tussock, snow-capped peaks and the turquoise of Lake Tekapo. Climb a 2070m peak and return to a cosy mountain hut to savour the sun setting behind mountain silhouettes and a star-studded sky - one of the clearest and darkest skies in the southern hemisphere.
The Tekapo Trek is very suitable to first time visitors to New Zealand's Southern Alps.
Trekking Season: November to April
Length: 2 or 3 day treks
Price: 2 days AUD $500 | 3 days AUD $700
Fitness & Experience: Ideally you should have previous tramping or hiking experience, because much of the trek is across untracked terrain and you need to be sure-footed. However, if you are relatively new to tramping, then this is an ideal introduction, especially for families, as long as you are fit and walking 6-8 hours in a day would pose no problems.
