High Country Walking Tour for Solo Travelers
Held twice yearly, over Easter and New Year, our High Country walks for solo travelers are very popular and always a lot of fun!
Duration: 4 days (3 nights)
Accommodation: alpine ski lodge at Falls Creek
Price: AUD 1760 per person twin share (we match you), single rooms also available (supplement applies)
Logistics: Tour commences and finishes in Melbourne, departs 8am Day One, returns 10pm Day Four

Itinerary in Brief
Day 1. 8.00am depart Melbourne for Falls Creek, lunch on route at Victorian Alps Winery Gapsted, arrive & settle in ski lodge, Falls Ck. Afternoon walk to historic Wallace and Cope Huts
Day 2. Day walk, via beautiful Heathy Spur we lunch at historic Edmonsons Hut, then climb Mount Nelse for spectacular mountain views before returning to Watchbed Creek and Rocky Valley via Hollonds Knob and The Park.

Day 3. Day walk, today we head out to the eastern edge of the high plains for spectacular views towards Mount Feathertop.Passing Mt Jim we usually spy wild brumbies before lunching at Mt Bundara. From Cope Saddle we return to Pretty Valley and back for our final night celebration!
Day 4. Out along the aqueducts we make our delightful way to historic Fitzgeralds Hut for lunch, before traversing alpine meadow through snowgum back to The park. We return to Langford Gap via Marm Point and the aqueduct trail. After a quick stop in Falls Creek

we hitch the trailer and return late to Melbourne, usually around 10.00 pm.
Note: from New Year 2012 we will be adding an extra night and day to this itinerary.
